Gaming computer problems we can help with
PC turns on, but there’s no display
Fans and lights can turn on even when a computer fails its startup checks (POST). Tell Nick whether you see a motherboard warning light, hear beeps, or recently changed a component. We can diagnose the cause before you buy replacement parts.
Crashes, black screens or restarts in games
A crash under load can involve temperatures, power delivery, memory, drivers or the game itself. Share which games trigger it, any error messages and whether the whole computer restarts. Those details help narrow down the repair.
Overheating and noisy cooling
Unexpected shutdowns, rising temperatures and loud fans can point to a cooling problem. Get help assessing airflow, dust buildup, fans and CPU cooling, with replacement options discussed after diagnosis.
Low FPS, stuttering or an upgrade that didn’t help
Share your CPU, graphics card, memory, monitor resolution and the games you play. We can assess the system and discuss GPU, RAM, SSD or cooling upgrades that fit your existing parts and budget.
Start with a diagnosis, then choose the work
Request a shop drop-off or an on-site appointment. Nick reviews the request before confirming your time. We discuss the diagnosis, proposed work and quote before proceeding. Shop drop-off has no dispatch charge; on-site travel fees are shown during booking.
Considering a graphics card, memory or storage upgrade? Compatibility matters: the power supply, case space, motherboard and cooling all affect your options. Tell Nick what is already in your PC and what you want to improve.

Gaming PC repair questions
Can you look at a gaming PC I built myself?
Yes. Contact Nick about a self-built or prebuilt gaming desktop, including a new build that will not boot. Send your parts list and describe what happens when you press the power button.
How much does a gaming PC repair cost?
Repair labor is $80 per hour. You receive an upfront quote, and Keystone Labs has a no-fix, no-fee policy. Shop drop-off has no dispatch charge. Parts and any on-site travel are quoted for your job.
Should I repair, upgrade or replace my PC?
That depends on the fault, the age and compatibility of your parts, and what you want to play. Nick can discuss the repair cost alongside an upgrade or custom build so you can choose what fits your budget.
What should I bring, and how long will it take?
Arrange an appointment first. Share the symptoms, parts list or PC model, recent changes and any error messages. Mention important files and backups. Nick will confirm what to bring and discuss timing after assessing the work and parts availability.
